2,670 Palestinians Martyred, 9,600 Wounded in Aggression on Gaza
x The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza says the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Strip has so far killed close to 2,700 people and wounded around 10,000.
The Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip has killed 2,670 people and wounded 9,600 others, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Sunday as “Israel” continues indiscriminately bombing the Strip and killing innocent civilians left and right.
“There are still many martyrs and survivors under the rubble due to the continued Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip,” the Palestinian Interior Ministry said.
“The occupation has been committing massacres for 9 days in plain sight,” the Ministry added. “The bombardment continues in Gaza. No place is safe.”
It also extended its greetings to the people of the north and Rafah for refusing to leave their cities.
“The Israeli occupation is revisiting its history of massacres like Sabra and Shatila and Deir Yassin in an attempt to break the will of our people, but it will not succeed,” the Ministry added.
It also stressed that it remained determined to intensify efforts to provide services to civilians as they continue to be subjected to brutal Israeli bombing, though it highlighted that police stations in Jabaliya and Beit Lahia were destroyed due to the indiscriminate bombing.
Meanwhile, the Ministry stressed that “several hospitals have dismissed Israeli threats and evacuation orders and continue to operate.”
“All of the hospital’s patients are civilians, and we will not leave the hospital except for to heaven,” the director of the Kuwaiti Hospital said.
“The occupation disregards all norms and laws, cutting off electricity and water for the ninth day,” it added as the Israeli occupation warned that the Israeli occupation forces issued a warning to evacuate the Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah but the hospital administration refused to comply with this order.
“The whole world has abandoned us, and we will not leave our people alone,” he said. “The Israeli occupation only wants the genocide of the people of Gaza.”
US says Gaza witnessing a human catastrophe
The Gaza Strip, according to the United Nations, is grappling with an “unprecedented human catastrophe” as the Israeli occupation’s relentless strikes have martyred thousands across the Palestinian territory.
Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of UNRWA, expressed grave concern over the humanitarian situation and the severe impact of the ongoing aggression.
For the past eight days, Gaza has been cut off from essential resources, including water, wheat, and fuel. “Not one drop of water, not one grain of wheat, not a liter of fuel has been allowed in the Gaza Strip,” said Lazzarini during a press conference. “Raise the alarm that as of today, my UNRWA colleagues in Gaza are no longer able to provide humanitarian assistance as I speak.”
The situation is becoming increasingly dire, with Gaza’s population effectively being strangled by the conflict. Lazzarini emphasized that “Gaza is running out of water, and Gaza is running out of life.”
Earlier in the day, the Israeli occupation informed White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan that water pipes in southern Gaza were turned back on after the citizens of Gaza spent days without any water due to the stifling, aggressive Israeli policies.
“I have been in touch with my Israeli counterparts just within the last hour who reported to me that they have, in fact, turned the water pipe back on in southern Gaza,” Sullivan told CNN.
On his part, Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz said Sunday that the decision to renew water supplies to parts of southern Gaza was agreed on between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden, highlighting the latter’s complicity in the oppression of the people of Gaza.
The decision to partially renew water supplies was in line with the Israeli policy, he underlined, which he went on to explain was tightening the blockade on Gaza.
The Israeli occupation is trying to drive the Palestinian people from northern Gaza into its South in a bid to empty the Strip’s north in preparation for a ground invasion that would take the lives of thousands of people were it to take place.

1,400 Israelis dead, 3,500 wounded
Meanwhile, more than 1,400 Israelis have died, with 3,500 others wounded, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s press office said.
Moreover, according to the Israeli occupation’s authorities, at least 155 have been captured by the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza.
The settlers, demanding the resignation of Netanyahu’s cabinet, want the Israeli government to move and return the captured settlers as many remain with the Palestinian Resistance.
The families of dozens of captured Israeli settlers and missing persons protested outside the Israeli security ministry in “Tel Aviv” in light of government inaction.
Thus far, only three settlers, a woman and her two children, were returned to the occupied Palestinian Resistance at the initiative of the Palestinian Resistance and without any agreement with the Israeli occupation.
This comes after dozens of Israeli settlers and foreigners perished during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip as the Israeli occupation forces continued to shell the Strip indiscriminately without taking into consideration the location of its settlers.
The military wing of Hamas, Al-Qassam Brigades, said Saturday that nine captives were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.
In more recent news, Israeli medical sources revealed that eight Israelis were injured in the latest bombing, whose source was Lebanon, that affected the Western al-Jalil. The rocket and artillery strikes were conducted in retaliation for strikes conducted by the Israeli occupation on Lebanese territory, which wounded and martyred several Lebanese civilians thus far.
As settlers are suffering under the wrath of the Resistance, the Israeli occupation revealed that the Resistance has thus far launched at least 6,600 rockets toward Israeli settlements.
The Palestinian Resistance has been underlining that its strikes were in response to the Israeli brutality against Gaza’s civilians and its overall injustice. Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing, said it was shelling “Tel Aviv”, occupied Askalan, “Holon”, and “Rishon LeTsiyon”, among many other settlements.
