The United Arab Emirates (UAE) condemned the terrorist act which took place early Monday outside the National Cancer Institute in the Manial area of the Egyptian capital Cairo, killing dozens of people and injuring many others.

“This criminal act is contrary to religious and humanitarian values,” the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry expressed “deep sympathy and sincere condolences to the families of the victims and their wishes for the speedy recovery of those injured by this criminal act aimed at destabilizing Egypt’s security and stability.”
The statement reiterated “the firm position of the UAE which rejects terrorism regardless of its origin and origin.”
