Number of AKP members dropped 15 thousand, 692 members in 50 days
The Supreme Court of Appeals Prosecutor’s Office, keeping track of political parties, controlling and monitoring their activities, updated the number of members of the parties as of February 4. The AKP, which has 10 million 211 thousand 596 members in the 50 days since 16 December 2019, has decreased by 15 thousand 692 members and recorded as 10 million 195 thousand 904.
The number of members of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), the partner of the Cumhur Alliance, increased during this period. According to the latest data, MHP has 468 thousand 585 thousand members and as of February 4, the number of members has increased by 6 thousand 614 to 479 thousand 199.
42 THOUSAND NEW MEMBERS TO GOOD PARTY
IYI Party, which campaigned with the target of 400 thousand members at the end of 2020, increased its number of members by 42 thousand 533 in the past 19 days and reached 266 thousand 440 people. CHP, which is among the parties that increased the number of members in the opposition, increased its total number of members to 1 million 257 thousand 753 with an increase of 4 thousand 230 members, while HDP reached 39 thousand 334 with an increase of 412 members.
THERE ARE NO MEMBERS OF 15 POLITICAL PARTIES, ACCORDING TO THE CHAIRMAN’S DATA
As of December 2019, the Future Party, which was headed by former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, the company started to receive membership registration at the beginning of January. However, the members of the Future Party have not been entered into the system yet. According to the data of the Chief Public Prosecutor, other political parties that have no members are listed as follows:

RE-WELFARE PART PASSED 50 THOUSAND DAMS
The number of members of the Re-Welfare Party, founded under the leadership of Fatih Erbakan, son of former Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan, also drew attention. Founded in November 2018, the party increased the number of its members to 57 thousand 175 in the past year and a half.
