Hamdok postpones his resignation in response to local, regional and international calls
Informed sources told Al-Sharq, on Wednesday, that Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok has postponed his resignation until next week.
Civil and military sources told our reporters that Hamdok postponed the resignation in response to local, regional and international calls.
The sources indicated that the Deputy Chairman of the Sovereign Council, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, “Hemedti”, held a meeting with Hamdok, and also reported that the Speaker of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the two members, Shams El-Din Kabbashi and Yasser Al-Atta, called on the Prime Minister, in a phone call, to reverse the resignation.
