Russia: West’s statements about invasion of Ukraine “madness and panic”
Dmitriy Polyansky, the first deputy permanent representative of Russia to the United Nations, announced on Sunday that the thinking of Western countries about the number of days in which Ukraine can be defeated is madness and panic.

In light of the escalation between Moscow and the West over Ukraine, a US intelligence report said that Russia is accelerating its preparations to invade Ukraine, according to US media reports. The US intelligence report predicted the fall of Kiev within two days.
The US military announced the arrival of military reinforcements to Poland, in the context of reassuring allies concerned about the Russian-Ukrainian tension.
US officials as saying that Russian forces could defeat Kiev “within two days” in the event of Russia’s attack on Ukraine. They also stressed that the total number of victims as a result of the possible conflict between Russia and Ukraine may reach about 85,000 people.
And the army revealed in a statement, Saturday, that General Christopher Donahue, commander of the 82nd Division, arrived in Poland.
