Family ties in resolving the conflict within the Brotherhood “group”

Istanbul group, led by Mahmoud Hussein, relied on “blood ties and intermarriage”, which is one of the most important features of the terrorist organization, to mobilize regulatory rules in its favor, according to what an informed source revealed to our reporters.

By blood ties and intermarriage within the Brotherhood, he means the ties of kinship and lineage that unite most of its elements, which the organization was keen to preserve as one of the most important elements of its continuity, as it worked to exploit it in the electoral mobilization processes.

According to the source, Hussein’s group is trying to achieve a kind of mobilization within the organization, by exploiting the ties of kinship between most of the leaders inside Egypt and urging them to support the Istanbul group in exchange for Ibrahim Munir and his group, pointing to the group’s adoption of such tricks in resolving historical conflicts.

The source says that the group is using the sisters to play a pivotal role in the communication process at the present time and to persuade the organizational links inside Egypt to announce their support for Mahmoud Hussein and Mustafa Tolba to manage the affairs of the Guidance Office, stressing that the influential elements within the women’s organization support Hussein and his group, most notably the Khairat Al-Shater family, Mahmoud Ezzat and Mohamed Morsi. .

The Egyptian researcher specializing in political Islam and terrorism, Ahmed Sultan, believes that the ties of blood and intermarriage within the terrorist Brotherhood are among the most important topics that must be highlighted in light of reading the developments related to the current Brotherhood crisis.

The Istanbul group is linked by lineage and kinship with most of the leaders and organizational cadres inside Egypt, and perhaps the most prominent model is linked to the leader Mustafa Tolba, who was appointed about a month ago to carry out the work of the group’s general guide, and he is the son-in-law of the group’s first deputy and acting guide Mahmoud Ezzat.

In a statement to “Sky News Arabia”, Sultan said that the group worked to strengthen its organizational networks through ties of lineage, intermarriage and brothers, and it was practicing recruitment within the framework of close social circles, and then proceeded from it further and further, and always documented its organizational relationship through trade and lineage .

Sultan believes that these social ties have a pivotal role in the crisis of the current conflict between the two fronts of London and Istanbul, explaining that, throughout their history, they have played a role in the escalation of the executive leadership within the Brotherhood, and are considered a kind of trust that So-and-so is a relative of So-and-so or his friend, Sultan says. The lineage link between Mustafa Tolba and Mahmoud Ezzat was the reason for choosing the former to head the committee acting as the General Guide.

Sultan asserts that the intermarriage relationship between students and Ezzat, who is one of the most important organizational leaders in the group, was a pivotal factor in his rise and penetration within the organization, and then his selection for the position of acting guide and his support in the face of the London group.

Sultan explains that the intermarriage bond was a pivotal factor in the escalation of many leaders within the Guidance Office and the General Shura Council, and now intermarriage ties are considered a kind of organizational legitimacy and a powerful weapon to resolve the dispute by mobilizing the support of the rules.

Sultan does not expect that the current conflict within the group will be resolved anytime soon, despite the state of controversy between the two parties.

Recently, the so-called internal conflict in the terrorist organization has been promoted between the fronts of Ibrahim Munir, the acting guide and residing in Britain, and Mahmoud Hussein, the leader of the organization and his group, residing in Turkey.

The media has been in a state of upheaval since the acting General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, Ibrahim Mounir, officially announced the decision to dissolve the Administrative Office for Organization Affairs in Turkey, as well as the Qatar Shura Council, last June, and to postpone the internal elections that were expected to take place within weeks to choose members of the General Shura Council for 6 months.

During the past few days, the Brotherhood witnessed a new wave of defections within its ranks over the past week; Following the continuation of the raging internal conflict crisis and mutual accusations between its two parties.

In the text of the resignations, which were largely circulated internally, it was stated that the bases, all of whom were from the Egyptian Brotherhood, had completely lost their confidence in the central leadership, and the image of the second had become greatly distorted after the mutual accusations by the two parties, so it was better to retire the organizational work to feel shocked by what The recent controversies revealed the falsehood of the group’s slogans, according to what “Sky News” published in a previous report.
