Barcelona jail inmate: Dani Alves is not acting like a star
One of the inmates at the Brians II Penitentiary Center, where Dani Alves is being held, revealed details about the former Barcelona right-back's daily life in jail.
The prisoner revealed that Alves is serious, tries to go unnoticed and even helps other inmates by paying for them to buy things they may need.
“He helps where he can,” the inmate told Spanish TV show ‘El Programa de Ana Rosa’.
“He tries to go unnoticed and is very nice to people. He is not a star. There are officials who flatter him and there are others who are happy to have him there.”
For his part, lawyer Cristobal Martell, who is in charge of looking after Dani Alves’ interests, admitted for the first time that there was penetration during the alleged sexual assault, but he was adamant that it was consensual.
To justify it, he has stressed that the medical report provided by the young woman by the Hospital Clinic, where she was treated the morning after the alleged incident, does not show any injury in the genital area.
