Colombia Pauses Buying Israeli Weapons and President Calls war in Gaza ‘Genocide’
Colombian President Gustavo Petro has made a resounding call to the international community, urging for a boycott of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Since the onset of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, Petro has been a vocal advocate for the victims of the Gaza genocide, consistently speaking out against the atrocities and demanding accountability for the lives lost and the suffering inflicted upon innocent civilians.
The Colombian President also announced suspending all weapons deals with “Israel” in the face of the ongoing aggression against Gaza, the most recent of which was the killing of over 100 Palestinians waiting in line to receive aid from convoys by Israeli forces.
