Day 312 of Israeli Aggression on Gaza: 39,897 Martyrs, 92,152 Injuries

The Israeli occupation’s war on Gaza has entered its 311th day, with numerous areas across the Strip facing relentless attacks that have killed countless civilians. The violence, spanning from the northern to the southern regions of Gaza, continues to escalate.

Reports from Gaza confirm that the northeastern areas of Gaza City, in the northern part of the Strip, have been subjected to heavy Israeli artillery shelling. Additionally, Israeli airstrikes targeted the Sabra neighborhood, while al-Zaytoun neighborhood, located in the southern part of Gaza City, also endured artillery fire.

In central Gaza, two civilians were killed following an Israeli airstrike at the entrance of the Nuseirat refugee camp. The northern outskirts of the camp were also hit by artillery fire. Further shelling targeted eastern Deir al-Balah, adding to the growing list of casualties and destruction in the area.

In another tragic incident, Israeli aircraft bombed a house near Abu Hassira Street in western Gaza City, killing a father and his daughter.

In the al-Bureij refugee camp, the Israeli occupation forces launched a fatal airstrike that caused significant damage and loss of life.

Southern Gaza witnessed one of the deadliest assaults in recent hours, as approximately 20 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the city of Khan Younis. According to reports, 12 of the victims were transported to Nasser Medical Hospital, where the toll of the Israeli aggression continues to rise.

Moreover, Israeli airstrikes destroyed an entire residential block in New Abasan, located to the east of Khan Younis. In Rafah, also in southern Gaza, the body of another victim was recovered from the Shakoush area, further highlighting the devastating human cost of the ongoing assault.

Mounting death toll 

On day 311 of the genocide in Gaza, the toll of casualties has risen to 39,897 Palestinians killed and 92,152 injured by the Israeli occupation amid the IOF’s brutal onslaught, according to the daily report published by the Health Ministry in Gaza on Saturday.

“Israel” committed three massacres over the past 48 hours, killing 142 Palestinians and injuring 150 others. Out of the 142 victims, 107 were transported to hospitals, where their identities were confirmed, while the remaining victims are still being identified and recorded.

While some were transported to partially functioning hospitals, many victims remain trapped beneath the rubble with rescue crews being unable to reach them due to the presence of Israeli military vehicles and the dangerous conditions in those areas.

It’s important to note that the current death toll does not include unidentified victims from the massacre at the UNRWA al-Tabieen school in Gaza City.

The Government Media Office in Gaza stated that “Israel” committed a horrendous massacre during the early hours of Saturday at the Al-Tabieen school in Gaza City, killing over 100 Palestinians and wounding dozens of others.

“Due to the enormity of the massacre and the rising number of victims, medical and civil defense teams have not yet been able to retrieve all the bodies,” it said in a statement.

The media office held both “Israel” and the US administration responsible, pointing out that the Israeli occupation army launched a direct attack on the school, where many displaced individuals who had sought refuge were performing morning prayers, which led to a massive number of martyrs.

More than 300 people were present at the time of the Israeli bombing, the media office added.

It condemned this “horrific massacre in the strongest terms and [called] on the entire world to condemn it.” The government office also demanded that the international community and international organizations put pressure on the occupation to stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
