Hezbollah Targets Safad with Barrage of Katyusha Rockets
Hezbollah announces successfully targeting the main air defense missile base of the Northern Command at the Berea barracks.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah announced on Friday at dawn that it successfully targeted the main air defense missile base of the Northern Command at the Berea barracks with a barrage of Katyusha rockets.
Israeli media reported a series of explosions in Safad, prompting around 50,000 settlers in the area and its surroundings to seek refuge in shelters. The blasts caused a widespread power outage and ignited a fire in the area.
This comes after Hezbollah conducted a series of operations on Thursday, striking Israeli military sites, soldier gatherings, and military equipment on the northern front in support of the people of Gaza and their brave Resistance, as well as in defense of the Lebanese South against continuous Israeli aggression.
Hezbollah’s operation comes “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance and in response to the aggression and assassination carried out by the zionist enemy in the town of Kfar Joz.”
In the first operation, Hezbollah said it targeted Al-Biyada at 1:00 am using artillery shells, confirming direct hits.
Later in the morning, Resistance fighters struck the Israeli military base al-Malikiya with appropriate weaponry, also resulting in a direct hit.
In retaliation for the Israeli attacks on southern Lebanese villages and the killing of two civilians in al-Bayyadah, brothers, Ishak (13) and Hussein Alayan (16), Hezbollah said it struck the Israeli settlement of Rosh Hanikra for the first time, announcing that the settlement has now been included in the target bank.
