Day 345 of Israeli Genocide in Gaza: 41,206 Martyred, 95,337 Injured
Israeli airstrikes, which have resulted in further civilian casualties amid an increasingly dire humanitarian crisis caused by the Israeli blockade, have concentrated on central and northern Gaza.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on the 345th day of the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Strip, that the number of martyrs has risen to 41,206, with 95,337 others wounded.
In the past 48 hours, the Israeli occupation committed three massacres against families in Gaza, killing 24 Palestinians and injuring 57 others.
Israeli killing ongoing on 345th day of genocide in Gaza
Israeli occupation forces continued their genocidal campaign in the Gaza Strip for the 345th consecutive day, conducting numerous airstrikes and artillery bombardments that have resulted in further civilian casualties amid an increasingly dire humanitarian crisis caused by the Israeli blockade.
In the latest developments, Israeli strikes have concentrated on central and northern Gaza. Palestinian media reports indicated that three Palestinians were killed and others injured when Israeli forces targeted a house west of the Nuseirat Refugee Camp.
Additionally, Israeli artillery fire was reported north of the Nuseirat camp.
Another Palestinian was killed and several others injured in an Israeli attack on an apartment in the Jabalia Refugee Camp in northern Gaza.
Israeli warplanes also bombed a house near the Al-Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital in Jabalia and struck areas around the Al-Taleem Roundabout.
Last night, Israeli forces deployed flares over Beit Hanoun and the Qleibo Hill area in northern Gaza. In the southern part of the Strip, Israeli artillery targeted the area northwest of Rafah, demolishing residential buildings in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood and bombarding other locations in the Al-Mawasi region.
74% of displaced Palestinians’ tents unfit for use: Gaza Gov. Office
The Government Media Office in Gaza issued an urgent humanitarian call on September 14 urging the protection of the two million displaced Palestinians in Gaza ahead of winter.
In a statement, the Media Office revealed that 543 displacement centers exist in Gaza due to the war and the Israeli crime of forced displacement, which is a violation of international humanitarian law.
Government field assessments estimated, however, that 74% of the displaced Palestinians’ tents have become unsuitable for use, further clarifying that 100,000 of the 135,000 tents need to be replaced due to complete damage.
“These tents are made of wood, nylon, and fabric, which have worn out due to the heat of the sun and weather conditions in Gaza. They are no longer usable, especially after 11 continuous months of displacement, leading to these inhumane conditions,” the statement read.
The Government Media Office held “Israel” and the US fully accountable for Gaza’s disastrous conditions and appealed to Egypt and the Arab and Islamic nations to provide Gaza with necessary tents and aid.
The Israeli occupation forces have also prevented the entry of at least a quarter of a million tents into the Gaza Strip, which adds to the plight of Palestinian refugees, who “will be left without any shelter during the winter, forced to sleep on the ground and cover themselves with the sky.”
‘Israel’ massacres Palestinian tent camp
Alongside the Israeli obstruction of tent deliveries, the occupation forces also repeatedly bombed Palestinian displacement camps, completely destroying and burning refugee camps at the site.
Last week, the Israeli occupation launched an extensive attack against a Palestinian displacement camp in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. The massacre was described as “one of the worst and most brutal in the Strip”.
The area was previously declared an alleged safe zone by the IOF, and sheltered at least one million Palestinians, all of whom were cramped up in makeshift tents.
As a result of the intense bombardment of the camp, large and unprecedented craters and holes were left behind by the 2,000-pound bombs dropped by the IOF. Entire families have been wiped out, while others completely disappeared in the sand.
Reports indicate that at least five Israeli missiles targeted over 20 Palestinian tents, reducing them to nothing.
