The death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 43,603 martyrs, with 102,929 injured since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry announced on Sunday.
In its daily report on the 401st day of the war, the Ministry confirmed that the Israeli occupation military has committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, with 51 martyrs and 164 injured reaching hospitals in the past 24 hours.
It also noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble and on roadways, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense teams.
New Israeli massacre in Jabalia; over 30 killed, including 13 children
Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli occupation military committed another massacre against civilians in Jabalia, northern Gaza, resulting in the killing of 33 people, including 13 children, after targeting a house sheltering dozens of displaced people on Gaza Old Street.
The latest massacre occurred amid a severe shortage of medical and emergency services in the northern part of the Strip, due to the strict siege imposed by the Israeli occupation forces, which have also targeted civil defense teams and hospitals.
Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense, indicated that the Israeli occupation is prohibiting Civil Defense teams from carrying out their duties under threat of bombing.
In an interview with our reporters, Basal emphasized that the Israeli occupation military continues to systematically target civilians in northern Gaza, adding that in recent hours, artillery shelling has been concentrated around Jabalia, specifically near Kamal Adwan Hospital, which is currently operating with only its hospital director and a small number of nurses.
Basal added that international organizations have been urged to exert pressure to allow Civil Defense and medical teams back into northern Gaza.
“We are enduring 400 days of abandonment by the Arab world and the international community,” the spokesperson said.
He also stated that the Israeli occupation is implementing a policy of bombing populated homes, especially in the northern part of the Strip.
Basal told our reporters that around 37 members of the al-Alloush family were inside the house targeted by the occupation in the Jabalia refugee camp.
Struggles in providing a single meal
On his part, Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, urgently called for basic supplies, emergency services, and lifting the siege on northern Gaza.
Abu Safiya warned of emerging cases of malnutrition and starvation among both children and adults in the area, confirming severe hardships in providing one meal a day for hospital staff due to acute shortages in food and medical supplies.
The Gaza Government Media Office released new statistics on the 400th day of the ongoing genocide campaign led by the Israeli occupation, with support from the United States and the West.
The statistics document the martyrdom of 43,552 people, including 17,835 children and 11,891 women, with 102,765 others injured and 10,000 reported missing across 3,789 Israeli massacres.
According to the Gaza Government Media Office, 1,054 medical workers and 85 Civil Defense personnel have been killed, while that of journalists has risen to 188.
In southern Gaza City, Israeli aircraft carried out a strike near Street 8 and targeted a house in the al-Sabra neighborhood, resulting in additional casualties and injuries.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation continues to bombard various areas across Gaza by land, sea, and air. In recent hours, Israeli warships have fired shells toward Rafah’s coast, in the southern part of the Strip, according to our reporters.
