Four Palestinians, including an elderly woman, were killed and several others injured in Israeli bombardment that targeted the al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Our correspondent in Gaza reported Monday that three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a tent for the displaced in the al-Sawarha area, west of the al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Our correspondent also confirmed that an elderly woman was killed in Israeli artillery shelling of the western part of the camp.
In less than ten minutes, the Israeli occupation military carried out five airstrikes in the vicinity of the Turkamni Tower, west of al-Nuseirat, causing more than 20 injuries.
Israeli drones also launched intense strikes on civilian homes north of the camp while the occupation forces advanced into the areas surrounding al-Lawh land and the Masjid Muad’ibn Jabal to the north of al-Nuseirat camp. They also advanced into Wadi Abu Jabr and Abu Ma’la land to the west of the camp.
The head of the ambulance and transportation services unit at al-Awda Hospital in al-Nuseirat, Mohammad Housni Muharab, confirmed that the medical crews were able to transport 24 injured people to the hospital and that there are still several missing people under the rubble, according to eyewitnesses.
In a press statement, Muharab pointed out that the ambulance crews moved to the targeted areas after receiving calls from citizens, despite the danger of those areas and the intensive flight of Israeli occupation aircraft.
This comes as the Israeli occupation forces destroyed residential buildings in Jabalia camp, located in the northern Gaza Strip, and escalated their raids on the Beit Lahia project areas, Jabalia camp, and the surrounding regions.
