IOF Renew Aggression on Beirut Southern Suburb After Dawn Airstrikes

The Israeli occupation military continues its indiscriminate airstrikes on civilian infrastructure across Lebanon.

The Israeli occupation military carried out Thursday multiple new airstrikes on the Southern Suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, targeting Haret Hreik, Bir al-Abed, al-Sfeir, and al-Hadath.

In southern Lebanon, our correspondent confirmed that one person was killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit a house between the towns of Ansariyeh and Adloun.

The occupation forces also targeted the towns of Majdal Zoun and Western Zawtar in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, the Israeli military launched new airstrikes on several towns in the Tyre district and the city of Tyre, as well as a strike on the town of Khiam in the morning.

Several injured in Bekaa

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that the Israeli occupation forces conducted artillery shelling on multiple locations in the Jezzine area.

In the Bekaa region, the occupation forces carried out an airstrike near the town of Younin, killing and injuring several people.

Amid ceasefire talks, Israeli warplanes renewed their strikes on multiple residential areas in Beirut’s Southern Suburb early on Thursday following a few days of relative calm in the area.

At least two strikes targeted the Haret Hreik area in the suburb after the Israeli military command issued three warnings saying that it would hit three residential buildings in the same area.

It is worth noting that these warnings have been unreliable, as the number of strikes launched during every round of raids has been consistently higher than the number of individual warnings issued. Moreover, dozens of buildings have been struck with no previous warnings, with civilians given minimal time to flee before the strikes.

South of Lebanon under Israeli attack

Israeli occupation forces also carried out a series of airstrikes across southern Lebanon early today. At least two airstrikes targeted the town of Mansouri, while the El-Buss refugee camp in Tyre was struck overnight, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries.

Israeli warplanes launched additional attacks just past midnight on several towns, including Mayfadoun, Khiam, Jibshit, Aaba, Beryqa, Ansar, Kafrjal, and Rumein. Heavy bombing also hit the areas of Aza, Arki, Deir Zahrani, Houmein Tahta, Zibdin, and Kafr Sir.

In a further escalation, multiple airstrikes were reported in Wadi al-Hujayr, Kfar Chouba, and Shawkin The National News Agency confirmed that Mohammad Abdullah Badah, a resident of Bayt Leif, was martyred in the Israeli bombardment.

The Ministry of Public Health’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center released a daily report on the impact of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, confirming that airstrikes on Tuesday killed 14 people and injured 87 others.
