Israeli Tanks Advance to Damascus Countryside as Strikes Continue

Israeli occupation forces continue to launch unprovoked assaults on Syria, occupying swaths of land and destroying Syrian military capabilities.

Israeli media outlets reported that, in less than two days, nearly 300 raids targeted Syria, adding that the Israeli Air Force draws closer to destroying the entirety of the Syrian Air Force.

Overnight on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation continued to launch attacks against Syria, mainly targeting Syria’s military capabilities.

The city of Salamiyah, in the eastern countryside of Hama, came under Israeli strikes.

Warplanes also targeted the Shayrat airbase in the Homs countryside. Additionally, Israeli strikes targeted military installations in the northern region of the Raqqa governorate. Our correspondent said that so far, 250 Israeli raids have targeted military installations in the country.

Unprovoked, the Israeli occupation continues destructing Syria’s military capabilities and has also launched a blatant ground assault on Syrian territories.

The Israeli occupation took over the entirety of the Golan, including the Syrian side of the Mount Hermon summit. It also led an eastward advance, taking over the buffer zone in the same area.

Local sources told our reporters that Israeli tanks are now positioned 3 km away from the city of Qatna in the capital’s countryside, nearly 20 km away from Damascus.

Our correspondent reports that Israeli tanks have advanced past the town of Qunaitra and are now on the outskirts of the Damascus countryside.

Moreover, Israeli forces have occupied several towns and villages, including Aarna, Baqa’sm, al-Reemeh, Hinah, Qal’a, Jandal, al-Husseiniyah, Jita, and al-Khashab in the southern countryside of Damascus.

This comes after the armed groups took over the Syrian cities, ousting President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday.
