Yemen Launches Palestine 2 Hypersonic Missile at ‘Israel’
The Yemeni Armed Forces announces launching a Palestine 2 hypersonic ballistic missile toward the occupied Palestinian territories in support of Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the successful launch of a hypersonic ballistic missile, Palestine 2, targeting Israeli-occupied territories in support of the Palestinian cause, in response to ongoing massacres in Gaza, and in support of the Resistance.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, confirmed Monday that the operation achieved its objectives and reiterated Yemen’s commitment to continued military action.
“The armed forces are determined to strike all enemy targets in the occupied territories,” Saree stated, emphasizing that such operations would persist until the aggression against Gaza ends and the siege is lifted.
He further declared Yemen’s readiness, alongside its people, to confront any Israeli or US aggression targeting the country with impactful and strategic military operations.
Earlier reports of possible strike
Earlier today, Israeli media reported the launch of three missiles from Yemen toward occupied Palestine, with explosions heard in al-Quds and Beit Lahm.
Sirens blared in a courtroom where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was testifying, prompting millions of settlers to seek shelter in fortified areas. Operations at Ben Gurion Airport were also suspended.
The Yemeni strike signals a significant development in the region’s escalating tensions, as various forces intensify their actions in response to Israel’s military operations in Gaza.
This follows an incident days ago where a multi-story building in Yavne, north of Ashdod, was struck by a drone originating from Yemen, according to statements by the Israeli military.
Numerous operations in support of Gaza
Saree addressed protesters during the weekly march on Friday in Sanaa, announcing that the Air Force units carried out two military operations targeting two sites in Askalan and Yafa in occupied Palestine.
Both operations were executed using drones that were able to bypass the interception systems and successfully reach their targets.
Saree also revealed a joint operation with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, targeting vital targets in the south of occupied Palestine.
Concluding his statement, the spokesperson confirmed Yemen’s unwavering support for Palestine, reiterating that its military operations will continue striking enemy strongholds and vital targets until the Israeli siege is lifted the aggression on the Gaza Strip ends.
