The Moscow Basmanny Court has arrested three more suspects believed to be connected to the Crocus City Hall terrorist incident, charging them with complicity in the attack.
Three more suspects connected to the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow have been placed under arrest by the Moscow Basmanny Court according to the court’s press.
The three suspects, Aminchon Islomov, Dilovar Islomov, and their father, Isroil Islomov, have been charged with being accessories to the crime, as they are suspected of being involved in the organization of the terrorist act, according to Russia’s Investigative Committee. The detainees will be held in custody until at the very least, May 22.
In a submission to the court posted on the Investigative Committee’s Telegram channel, investigators asserted that Shamsidin Fariduni, one of the assailants, purportedly enlisted Aminchon Islomov in January to participate alongside him in a planned terrorist act. It is further alleged that by no later than March 11, Fariduni is suspected to have also recruited Dilovar Islomov. Investigators have called for the immediate apprehension of the two siblings and their father.
Reports from Russian media suggest that Dilovar Islomov is believed to have been the recent owner of the white Renault purportedly utilized as a getaway vehicle by the perpetrators. However, no official information regarding the potential involvement of the three relatives in the incident has been disclosed as of yet.
Earlier, on Sunday, state news agencies in Russia reported that the first two suspects involved in the attack on Crocus City Hall in Moscow appeared at Moscow’s Basmanny District Court.
Russia’s TASS news agency reported that each had been charged with Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Terrorism resulting in the death of a person,” as per Moscow’s Basmanny District Court.
They were identified as Dalerjon Mirzoev and Saidakrami Rachabalizoda.
Footage circulated on social media showing one of the suspects with an apparent black eye. The other appeared to have bandages on his ear.
