Al-Houthi: Yemen Won’t Stand by Amid Israeli Aggression on Lebanon

The Israeli army conducted two waves of widespread airstrikes in south Lebanon and the Bekaa region, targeting many civilian areas.

The leader of Ansar Allah Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi asserted Sunday that Yemen stands firmly with Lebanon, after “Israel” targeted numerous areas in Lebanon with airstrikes on Friday and Saturday.

The leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, confirmed on Sunday, that Yemen was closely following the Israeli attacks on various areas in Lebanon, stressing that they are “unjustified aggressions.” He added that “Yemen’s firm and principled stance supports Hezbollah and the Lebanese people in any major developments or full-scale Zionist escalation.”

The Yemeni leader emphasized that “We will not stand by and watch the Zionist attacks on Lebanon,” addressing Hezbollah and the Lebanese people, saying, “You are not alone; we stand with you against any aggression,” reaffirming that Yemen was ready to stand with the people of Lebanon and Hezbollah.

‘Israel’ violates ceasefire with Lebanon again, dozens of raids

Our correspondent in South Lebanon reported on March 22 that Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of Yohmor al-Shakif in Nabatieh Governorate.  

The aggression extended to different regions in South Lebanon, with a total of 32 Israeli raids targeting several towns. 

The raid on the town of Tullin in the Marjayoun district resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians and injuries to several others, while Israeli warplanes flew intensively over the area. 

The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center stated that two citizens were injured in the border town of Kfar Kila due to Israeli shelling. 

Our correspondent also noted Israeli raids on the outskirts of Rashaya al-Fukhar, al-Khiam, and the area between Yater and Beit Lif. Despite earlier shelling, a cautious calm prevailed in the targeted areas, with al-Khiam’s outskirts continuing to be subjected to Israeli artillery.

On the evening of March 22, the Israeli military carried out a second round of airstrikes, striking multiple locations in southern and eastern Lebanon, blatantly violating both the ceasefire agreement and Lebanese sovereignty.

Other Israeli raids struck the Iqlim al-Tuffah Heights, with two raids reported, as well as another on Jabal al-Rihane. 

According to our correspondent in southern Lebanon, one of the airstrikes targeted a building in the archaeological district of Tyre, in the south of Lebanon. 

In Tyre, the Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple strikes on locations including Wadi Zibqin, Wadi al-Shoumariyeh, the valley between the towns of Srifa, Frun, and Ghandouriya, as well as the outskirts of the towns of Deir Qanoun al-Nahr and Wadi Sinya. 

The ministry announced that the final toll of the Israeli airstrike on Tullin this afternoon was five martyrs, including a child, and 11 wounded, including two children.

Moreover, Israeli airstrikes hit elevated areas In Iqlim al-Tuffah, while in eastern Lebanon, Israeli warplanes targeted the vicinity of the town of Nabi Sheet in the Bekaa Valley.

Israeli fighter jets struck the outskirts of the border town of al-Qasr, in the Bekaa region, marking another violation of Lebanon’s territorial integrity. 

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported one martyr and seven wounded in Tyre in a preliminary as a result of the Israeli airstrike, with 10 additional injuries reported in the Bekaa Valley from the Israeli attacks.
