At Least 7 Israeli Settlers Injured in ‘Tel Aviv’ Ramming Operation
Israeli media suggest the operation comes to confirm "Israel's" anxieties about potential operations in retaliation to the Israeli aggression against Jenin.
A Palestinian youth was martyred after carrying out a ramming operation in “Tel Aviv”, Israeli media reported on Tuesday.
This coincides with the Israeli occupation aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp, which left 10 Palestinian martyrs and dozens of injuries.
The media reported that at least seven illegal Israeli settlers were injured in the operation, including four seriously.
According to the Israeli occupation police, the Palestinian who carried the operation rammed his vehicle into settlers on a sidewalk, before getting out and stabbing several settlers.
The Shin Bet identified the Palestinian as 20-year-old Abed Al-Wahab Khalila, from the southern occupied West Bank town of As-Samu, near Al-Khalil.
The Israeli Channel 12 suggested that the operation “may have severe consequences in terms of injuries, and the matter will become clear later.”
“Despite all the measures taken, and no matter how many police officers have been deployed, it is not possible to prevent the implementation of an operation of this kind,” the channel pointed out, in reference to the latest operation.
Israeli media also suggested that the operation comes to confirm “Israel’s” anxieties about potential revenge operations in retaliation to the ongoing Israeli aggression against Jenin and its camp.
“This is an implementation of what the resistance confirmed, which is that the occupation will pay the price for its crimes against the Jenin camp,” Qassem added.
Hamas Spokesperson Hazem Qassem pointed out that the operation in “Tel Aviv” is “the first response to the occupation’s crimes against our people in the Jenin camp.”
