The Brazilian has won five Champions League titles at the Bernabeu and a move to a Europa League club doesn’t look too appealing from the outside.
However the Athletic they say Casemiro is interested in moving to Old Trafford and has given ‘positive indications’ that he is willing to leave Real Madrid.
United are believed to be preparing a bid of around £60m for the midfielder and he will be offered a contract of around four years.
Casemiro could also help unlock Fred’s potential as he plays behind the United midfielder domestically.
