On Tuesday, the Council of Higher Education in Turkey issued a decision to suspend the operating permit of “Istanbul Shahir” University, which was established in 2008 by the Davutoglu Foundation for Science and Arts, and transferred its management to Marmara University, following court cases facing the university against the background of the land on which it was built.
