Day 183: 33,137 killed, 75,815 injured in Gaza
"Israel" commits 4 massacres in Gaza, resulting in 46 deaths and 65 injuries, with the death toll from the conflict reaching 33,137 martyrs and 75,815 injured since October.
In the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation has carried out four brutal massacres against families, resulting in the tragic loss of 46 lives and leaving 65 individuals wounded, based on the number of people that had been admitted to hospitals within the past 24 hours.
It is important to note that rescue efforts are being hindered as a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, with destroyed buildings lying on roads impeding the ability of ambulance and civil defence teams to reach them swiftly.
The relentless Israeli genocide in Gaza has led to a staggering toll of 33,137 martyrs and 75,815 injuries since the conflict erupted on October 7th of the previous year, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Occupation targets Nuseirat Camp
Earlier, at dawn on Saturday, it was reported that a number of Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli missile and artillery bombardment targeting homes of civilians in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) targeted residential homes in the al-Zaytoun neighbourhood, southeast of Gaza City, as well as the al-Sabra neighbourhood in its centre, and the Tal al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin neighbourhoods, southwest of the city. This resulted in the deaths of three civilians and approximately ten others being injured. The wounded were subsequently transported to the Baptist Hospital in the city for treatment.
The occupation artillery also bombed civilian homes in the areas of al-Mughraqa, al-Zahraa, and the northern outskirts of the Nuseirat Camp in the centre of the Gaza Strip, which led to injuries among citizens, as a result of which they were transferred to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah, in the centre of the Gaza Strip.
The IOF bombed civilian property in the town of Beit Hanoun, located north of the Gaza Strip.
‘Israel’ admits 600 soldiers dead, 3,193 wounded in Gaza
The Israeli occupation forces announced Friday that 600 soldiers and officers have been killed and 3,193 others injured, including 497 seriously injured, since the start of the war on Gaza.
The IOF also admitted that 1,552 soldiers and officers were injured during the ground operation in Gaza.
Earlier, Israeli media outlets had reported on the high number of casualties among the Israeli occupation forces in the battles it is fighting with the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, which is equivalent to the size of a brigade in the IOF.
The occupation continues to suffer heavy losses in the battles against the resistance, as the Israeli forces are exhausted and are not making any significant progress.
Despite the Israeli forces’ tight control over the publication of the real numbers of its casualties as a result of the ground battles in the Gaza Strip in an attempt to hide the extent of its losses, the accurate data and video clips broadcast by the Palestinian resistance show that the losses suffered by the occupation are much greater than what it announces.
Israeli media outlets have circulated footage of several military helicopters transporting casualties from the Gaza Strip to hospitals in occupied Palestine, in what has been described as an “unusual” incident on Friday morning.
Concurrently, Israeli military reports have revealed that 62 Israeli occupation troops have been wounded in a period ranging from March 21 to March 28, pushing the total number of injuries among occupation forces to 3,160.
Since the Israeli occupation launched its ground invasion into the Gaza Strip, 1,523 soldiers and officers were claimed to have been injured.
In the last updated form of Israeli troops killed since October 7, 2023, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) admitted to 597 deaths among its members. The total number of casualties (deaths and injuries) admitted by Israeli authorities has reached 3,790.
