Day 193: 33,843 Martyred, 76,575 Injured in Gaza
Several Palestinians, including children, were injured due to relentless Israeli shelling on the north of the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
On the 193rd day of the Israeli war on Gaza, the Ministry of Health in the Strip reported Tuesday that the Israeli occupation force committed five massacres in 24 hours only against Palestinian families, resulting in 46 martyrs and 110 injuries.
The Ministry stated that the number of Palestinians martyred since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza now stands at 33,843, in addition to 76,575 injuries.
The statement highlighted that many remain trapped beneath the rubble and on the roads, as rescue teams struggle to reach them due to a lack of equipment and Israeli forces blocking roads.
This comes as Israeli occupation forces continue to launch airstrikes on the north of the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported, adding that several Palestinians, including children, were injured due to Israeli shelling on the camp.
Our correspondent mentioned that Israeli occupation forces destroyed an entire residential block north of the electricity company near the entrance of the al-Mughraqa area in the central governorate. He said that Israeli aircraft targeted al-Mughraqa north of Nuseirat in central Gaza with a series of airstrikes.
Israeli military vehicles stationed in al-Mughraqa and al-Zahraa areas north of Nuseirat also carried out dredging operations.
The occupation forces also fired sound bombs at the entrance gate of a school sheltering displaced people in the new camp in Nuseirat.
In Rafah, Israeli occupation forces dropped leaflets warning displaced people against returning to areas in northern Gaza described as “battle zones”.
In a related context, four Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli shelling of a house in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent confirmed.
The UN food agency emphasized Tuesday that families in Gaza rely entirely on food assistance to get by.
In a post on X, the World Food Programme (WFP) warned that “to truly have a chance of beating back famine, we need more access and a humanitarian ceasefire.” Several UN agencies have warned of the threat of imminent famine in Gaza, as the Israeli occupation forces continue to block the entry of much-needed aid into the besieged Strip.
IOF emptying Beit Hanoun, eastern Jabalia from Palestinians: Sources
Earlier, sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation forces have been conducting a military operation since Monday aimed at emptying Beit Hanoun and eastern Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip from Palestinians.
The sources pointed out that Israeli military vehicles are still stationed near the Abu Safiya area, east of Jabalia, and in Beit Hanoun.
According to the sources, Israeli military vehicles are advancing toward accommodation centers in Beit Hanoun and continue to besiege hundreds of displaced people in the Mahdia al-Shawwa school since Monday evening.
In the same context, several Palestinian citizens were forcibly displaced from a shelter south of the town, the sources said, adding that the Israeli occupation troops forced all families present in Beit Hanoun to evacuate and detained a number of youths amid intense artillery shelling, airstrikes, and heavy gunfire.
The sources confirmed that Israeli occupation forces retreated from around the Ghazi al-Shawwa school and nearby houses after detaining dozens of Palestinian youths, forcing several women to remove their hijabs during the inspection process, and forcibly displacing them from the area.
Earlier on Tuesday, a number of Palestinians were martyred and others were injured after the Israeli warplanes bombed a mosque west of Jabalia camp, while Israeli military vehicles raided Beit Hanoun.
Local sources reported communication and internet disruption in Beit Hanoun coinciding with the Israeli incursion.
