Day 252 in Gaza: Israel’ Killed 37,266 Palestinians, Injured 85,102

The Israeli occupation forces have committed four massacres in the past 24 hours claiming the lives of 34 martyrs and 71 injuries.

Israeli warplanes continue raiding Palestinian homes across the entirety of the Gaza Strip on day 252 of the genocidal war the occupation has launched against Palestinians, killing more martyrs and injuring more civilians.

According to our correspond in Gaza, the occupation intensified, over the past few hours, its bombardment of the al-Zaytoun, al-Daraj, and al-Tuffah neighborhoods in central Gaza, as well as Jabalia in northern Gaza.

During the early hours of Friday, Israeli warplanes targeted the entrance to the al-Bureij camp in central Gaza.

Local Palestinian media reported that a child was killed, while other Palestinians were injured when “Israel” struck their home in al-Bureij. The child martyr and the injured were all transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.

In Gaza City, Israeli occupation forces targeted the easternmost area of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Three Palestinian women were killed in the Israeli bombardment of a home near the Haydar Roundabout in westernmost Gaza, and a child was killed in Gaza City amid heavy Israeli bombing.

Meanwhile, in Rafah, Israeli warplanes launched intense raids and heavily fired at the city, while the occupation’s artillery continued shelling Palestinian homes.

Children under 5 in Gaza go at least 1 in 3 days without food: Reports

Most children under the age of five in Gaza are forced to suffer at least one day without food, as confirmed by aid groups and supported by a humanitarian aid group survey which showed that 85% of children under five were deprived of food for at least one day every three days.

At least 30 children have been recorded to have died as a result of starvation so far, according to a report by Truthout published on May 5.

Sally Abi Khalil, Middle East and North Africa director for Oxfam, said in a statement, “By the time a famine is declared, it will be too late. When hunger claims many more lives, nobody will be able to deny the horrifying impact of Israel’s deliberate, illegal and cruel obstruction of aid,” adding, “Obstructing tonnes of food for a malnourished population while waving through caffeine-laced drinks and chocolate is sickening.”

The report noted that since May 6, when “Israel” closed the main humanitarian aid gates, only around eight aid trucks entered on average each day – about 1% of the 500 to 600 trucks that the UN said were needed to meet Palestinians’ needs.
