Hamas condemns the ‘brutal massacre’
The Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas condemned the “brutal massacre” committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Deir al-Balah, describing it as a “heinous crime that underscores the detachment of this terrorist enemy from all human values.”
In a statement, Hamas said that “the terrorist occupation government continues to perpetrate the most atrocious massacres against unarmed civilians in cold blood, without any deterrence, and under the criminal cover of the United States.”
The movement called on the masses of the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as the free people of the world, to mobilize and put pressure to stop the ongoing war of genocide, starvation, and destruction.
Health Ministry warns of health system situation in Khan Younis
In a related context, the Ministry of Health in Gaza has announced that it is no longer possible to operate the European Hospital in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, due to the increasing number of areas being forcibly evacuated by Israeli occupation forces.
In a statement, the Ministry confirmed that several primary healthcare centers in Khan Younis, as well as numerous field medical points, are out of service.
The Ministry of Health appealed to all international and UN institutions and relevant bodies for urgent and immediate intervention to protect the remaining health institutions.
The statement further warned that the expansion of displacement areas indicates that the evacuation could affect the vicinity of the Nasser Hospital, the only hospital still operational despite the challenges and Israeli attacks.
