Egyptian President Sisi: Egypt has entered the stage of “water poverty”
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi revealed that his country has reached the stage of water poverty because the water that comes from Ethiopia is only 10%, stressing that he is keen to conduct a dialogue with Ethiopia to reach a binding legal agreement regarding Renaissance Dam.
He explained that Egypt went to the Security Council in order to push all parties to negotiate a legal agreement, noting that his country has started implementing strategic plans to maximize the use of its water capabilities, pointing out that it will become one of the largest countries that have implemented water recycling projects.
