Hezbollah Lunches the “The Battle of Open Account,” Phase Against Israel
Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, reaffirmed on Sunday that the Lebanese support front will continue its efforts until the conclusion of the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Speaking at the funeral of martyred leaders Ibrahim Aqeel and Mahmoud Yassin Hamad in the southern suburb of Beirut, Qassem condemned Israeli efforts to undermine Radwan leadership, aimed at disrupting resistance movements and inciting local populations against them.
According to al-Mayadeen Channel, Qassem hailed Aqeel as a martyr for al-Quds and Palestine, highlighting the extreme brutality of recent Israeli actions, which he described as targeting not only fighters but also civilians, children, and emergency responders.
He emphasized that despite ongoing Israeli threats, the resistance remains determined to confront military challenges.
Hezbollah launched multiple missiles, including “Fadi One” and “Fadi Two,” targeting Israeli military sites in northern occupied Palestine and the Syrian Golan, including military complexes and Ramat David Air Base.
Qassem announced the start of a new phase in their operations, titled “The Battle of Open Account,” without detailing specific responses to the aggression.
