Hezbollah Targets ‘Kiryat Shmona’ Settlement with Falaq Missiles
Hezbollah targeted 'Kiryat Shmona' with a salvo of Falaq missiles in support of Gaza and in response to the Israeli attack on medical crews in the town of Faroun.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon targeted the settlement of ‘Kiryat Shmona’, located in northern occupied Palestine, with two separate salvos of Falaq missiles at different times during the early hours of Sunday.
The resistance confirmed that this operation was conducted in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their resistance efforts.
It was also a direct response to the occupation’s recent attacks on southern villages and civilian areas. Notably, this included the recent assault on medical crews in the town of Faroun, which resulted in the martyrdom of Civil Defense members and injuries to others.
Regarding the occupation, the Israeli military instructed settlers in ‘Kiryat Shmona’ to remain in fortified areas as sirens continued to sound repeatedly in the settlement. The alerts also affected the neighboring ‘Misgav Am’, al-Manara, and ‘Kfar Giladi’ settlements.
Meanwhile, the war media of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon released footage documenting the targeting of surveillance equipment at Israeli sites, including “Birket Richa” and “al-Jardah,” located on the border with occupied Palestine.
In parallel, Israeli attacks on southern Lebanese villages and towns persist, with one raid targeting the town of Maroun al-Ras and another targeting the town of Aitaroun.
Hezbollah also released footage showing the targeting of the “Biranit” barracks, which belong to the Israeli military, located on the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
