Imed Hammami: “Ghannouchi represents a threat to Tunisia”
Former executive in Ennahdha movement Imed Hammami told private radio station on Tuesday“Rached Ghannouchi represents a threat to Tunisia,” adding that this “preventive arrest by the authorities was amply justified.”
Ennahdha movement brother leader Rached Ghannouchi was arrested last April 17 during a raid on his home and was taken to El Aouina National Guard Barracks at the request of the public prosecutor, under the Counter Terrorism Division.
Hammami stressed that several legal investigations have been launched against Ghannouchi, which focused on cases prior to July 25, 2021.
