IOF Blows up Residential Buildings in Rafah, Commits New Massacres
The Israeli occupation has intensified raids on homes and shelters for displaced people in the central region of the Gaza Strip.
On the 256th day of aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation committed new massacres in the central region and escalated bombings in Rafah, southern Gaza. Occupation military vehicles also made attempts to invade the area.
Our correspondent in Gaza confirmed that two Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli raid on the western Gaza Valley in al-Nuseirat, raising the death toll to 19 as of Tuesday at dawn.
Palestinian media reported that 17 martyrs, including children, were killed in the Israeli occupation’s bombing of civilian areas in the Central Governorate. The death toll is expected to rise as the Israeli bombing continues.
The Israeli raids on a house owned by the al-Rai family in the Nuseirat camp killed a number of Palestinians, and the bombing targeted warehouses where displaced people from the al-Madhoun family were seeking refuge. Additionally, the occupation bombed another house belonging to the Harb family in the al-Bureij camp.
The occupation also carried out multiple attacks in the town of al-Mughraqa, while targeting the eastern part of the city of Deir al-Balah.
Targeting building in Tal al-Sultan
In Rafah, Israeli airstrikes destroyed several buildings in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood to the west of the city. Concurrently, occupation vehicles opened fire on confrontation axes, accompanied by artillery shelling. In response, Palestinian Resistance forces engaged in fierce confrontations with the invaders.
The death toll released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health on Monday stood at 37,347 martyrs and 85,372 injuries since October 7th of last year.
On the 255th day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Resistance factions continued to repel Israeli occupation forces’ attempts to infiltrate several areas across Gaza, especially in the south.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced on Monday that its fighters engaged two Merkava tanks with al-Yassin 105 rockets in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah city in southern Gaza.
The Brigades said its fighters shelled with heavy mortar shells the headquarters of the command of the infiltrating Israeli forces located south of the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah and also struck Israeli occupation forces stationed southeast and southwest of the neighborhood.
Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, announced that its fighters blew up an Israeli tank with an explosive device, south of the Saudi neighborhood, west of Rafah.
