IOF Continues Aggression on Tulkarm, Destroying Homes, Infrastructure

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continue their relentless aggression on areas and refugee camps in the northern West Bank, with a particular focus on the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 31st consecutive day, alongside the ongoing assault on the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm for the 18th day.

The occupation has escalated its demolition of homes and residential buildings, impacting over 26 structures in the Tulkarm camp in recent days. This is part of a settlement plan being enacted under the pretext of constructing a road, extending from the Agency area to the Balawneh neighborhood, causing significant damage to all surrounding buildings and facilities.

Additionally, Israeli occupation forces informed residents last night of their plans to demolish 11 homes in the Nur Shams camp in the coming days. This move is being justified under the pretext of “constructing a road extending from the camp square towards the al-Manshiya neighborhood,” as reported by Israeli media.

In the same context, the occupation forces continue to raid Palestinian homes, deploy military reinforcements, and establish military positions between residential areas. Additionally, they have destroyed property and businesses, displacing approximately 12,000 Palestinians from the Tulkarm camp and 5,000 others from the Nur Shams camp.

Furthermore, the Israeli aggression has resulted in the destruction of essential infrastructure within the camps, including electricity, water, sewage, and communications networks.

In the aftermath of the Israeli aggression and amid the ongoing severe siege on the two camps, residents who remain in their homes, enduring difficult and harsh conditions, continue to appeal for the delivery of essential supplies.

Meanwhile, occupation forces are preventing entry and exit from the camps and obstructing the work of relief teams.

Earlier on Tuesday, reports revealed that Israeli forces raided the Imam Ali Mosque in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, confiscating the recordings of surveillance cameras installed there.
