Hamas urges international pressure to halt Israeli aggression on Gaza
Hamas called on Friday for intensified international pressure on “Israel” to end its ongoing aggression, which has led to genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement in Gaza over the last 15 months.
The group urged the global community “to criminalize Israeli actions, specifically its terrorism, and to bolster support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.”
In a statement released on International Human Solidarity Day, Hamas emphasized the need for continued and intensified solidarity actions in cities and capitals around the world in support of Palestine’s just cause.
The Resistance movement further stressed that holding “Israel” accountable for its crimes—both politically and legally—rests on the shoulders of the international community, Arab and Islamic nations, United Nations bodies, and all free peoples. It also urged immediate action to bring an end to the ongoing Israeli aggression.
Hamas emphasized that supporting the Palestinian cause and standing in solidarity with their legitimate rights is a mark of honor for those who oppose the Israeli occupation.
With the Israeli aggression entering its 441st day, Hamas urged the international community to fulfill its legal, ethical, and humanitarian responsibilities to halt this unprecedented wave of Israeli violence and terror.
As the world observes the International Day of Human Solidarity, the movement reiterated the scale of the atrocities being committed with the ongoing genocide and crimes against humanity carried out by Israeli forces.
