IOF Raid Tulkarm Camp, Bomb House and Kill 5
The Israeli occupation forces blocked ambulances, searched them, detained the injured and prevented medics and doctors from attending to the wounded as they raided the Tulkarm city and declared it a military zone.
The Israeli Occupation Forces carried out a drone attack, which targeted a house in Tulkarm Refugee Camp in the occupied West Bank, killing five Palestinians and injuring others.
After the attack, which was carried out in the early morning hours on Wednesday, the IOF stormed the emergency department of the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and detained one of the Palestinians injured in the morning attack.
According to local sources, the drone had launched two missile strikes at a house in the Balouneh neighborhood leaving at least three Palestinians wounded.
Moreover, Tulkarm’s Al-Quds Brigade announced that its Resistance fighters “ambushed an Israeli force in an ambush on the Balouneh axis and achieved direct hits.”
The Al-Quds Brigades explained that its fighters damaged bulldozers and other IOF vehicles, taking them out of service after they detonated a number of explosive devices near them.
Wounded arrested inside ambulance, detained
It was also reported that the IOF not only surrounded the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city, but also cordoned off the entrances to the hospital and deployed infantry in front of it. This practice hindered the arrival of ambulances and thus prevented the injured from receiving necessary treatment.
Eyewitnesses also reported that the occupation forces pursued the ambulances that were traveling in the city of Tulkarm, obstructed their work, and prevented them from moving freely.
Furthermore, the occupation forces surrounded Al-Israa Specialized Hospital, and searched ambulances carrying the wounded. Eyewitnesses noted that one of the wounded was arrested and was prevented care at the hospital.
According to local reports, the occupation forces had also deployed their snipers on the roofs of several buildings in the area, coinciding with intense flights of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft in the skies of the city, its suburbs and its camps.
The IOF even declared that the Tulkarm camp and its surrounding areas as military zones and imposed a complete curfew.
Sources also reported that Amir Abdel Rahman Majd, a 30-year-old Palestinian was killed after he was shot in the back by Israeli Occupation Forces.
Meanwhile, the IOF also stormed the Beit Lahm Governorate in the early hours of the morning as well as the city of Qalqilya and raided a number of residential homes leaving behind a trail of chaos and violence.
