Israel commits a massacre in Beit Lahia northern Gaza Strip
Palestinian news sources in the Gaza Strip reported that 11 Palestinians, including children, have been killed, while several others were injured following an airstrike by the Israeli occupation forces on a residential house in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
The attack was part of a series of airstrikes on various areas of the Strip which resulted in further casualties.
Moreover, three Palestinians were martyred and four others were injured in an Israeli occupation airstrike on a house in Maghazi camp in the central Strip.
Even in Khan Younis, in the South, a mother and child were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house.
In Jabalia’s Tal al-Zaatar, several Palestinians, including women and children, were also either killed or injured in an Israeli occupation airstrike on an apartment.
In the central region of the Strip, Israeli occupation warplanes conducted four airstrikes on various locations east of Deir al-Balah, near Salah al-Din Street. Injuries were also reported following an airstrike on a house in the Nuseirat camp.
While committing massacres in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces, in parallel, launched a series of simultaneous airstrikes targeting several southern Lebanese towns and villages during the early hours of Thursday, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported.
The Israeli aggressions targeted Kfar Kila, Kaouthariyet al-Siyad, Ramya, Zibqin, Aita al-Shaab, Mhaibib, Kfar Chouba, and the Shebaa Farms.
This escalation in Israeli attacks on Lebanese villages comes as the occupation struggles to achieve its war objectives in Gaza amid ongoing resistance from the Palestinian factions and its inability to deter Hezbollah or repel its daily operations.
Hezbollah launched on Wednesday a series of drone and rocket attacks on key Israeli military targets, including the Tsnobar base in the occupied Syrian Golan with a salvo of Katyusha rockets, marking the group’s second strike on the Tsnobar base since October.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said that these operations were conducted in support of the “steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable Resistance,” as well as in retaliation for the recent Israeli assault on the Bekaa region in Lebanon.
Located 18 kilometers from the Lebanese border, the Tsnobar base is considered a key facility under the Israeli Army’s Northern Command. It reportedly serves as a training ground for infantry troops and houses an artillery ammunition center, all protected by the Iron Dome missile system.
Additionally, Hezbollah launched more than 60 rockets at Katzrin in northern occupied Palestine, with Israeli media reporting direct impacts.
Following the strikes at Katzrin, former Israeli prime minister and opposition leader Yair Lapid posted a map on X showing the areas where sirens sounded, saying, “A day in the north of the country, and now a direct hit in the city of Katzrin. The government has lost the North.”
