Israel Kills 29 Refugees in Khan Younis School Massacre

The Israeli occupation has committed yet another massacre, targeting displaced women and children seeking shelter in a school and makeshift tents in Khan Younis.

The Israeli occupation has committed another horrific massacre in Absan, Khan Younis, in relentless bombings targeting the tents of displaced Palestinians, mostly inhabited by children and women, killing tens of martyrs in the process.

During the hours of Tuesday evening, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) massacred Palestinians staying in tents and the Al-Awda school, which shelters thousands of displaced civilians.

Our correspondent in Gaza reported 27 martyrs, most of whom were children, arriving at the Nasser Hospital.

The Gaza Media Office then stated that the massacre against the school in Abasan, east of Khan Younis, killed 29 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

It further asserted that the massacres committed by “Israel” are continuously renewed, with the latest coming after six massacres, which collectively killed at least 60 Palestinians within a few hours, most of whom are women and children.

Gaza’s Media Office also stressed that the massacres coincide with “Israel’s” deliberate destruction of the health system in the Strip, the constant attacks on hospitals and medical centers, amid the intense pressure the medical teams in Gaza are facing due to the diminishing number of operation rooms and the absence of the required supplies, with respect to the increasing number of injuries.

The Israeli bombing also targeted central Gaza, killing more Palestinians and injuring others. Five martyrs, including children, arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, as a result of the occupation’s air force targeting a Palestinian house in the city.

A study by the British scientific journal The Lancet, a weekly peer-reviewed general medical journal, predicts that the number of martyrs killed during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, both directly and indirectly, will exceed 186,000.

Our correspondent reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the west of a new camp, north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, while the occupation aircraft targeted the upper level of a residential building on al-Wahda Street.
