Israel Kills Tens of Palestinians in Aggression on a school in Gaza
Israeli occupation forces targeted the Hamama school in Gaza, killing tens of Palestinians and injuring several others.
The Israeli occupation committed a new massacre after bombing the Hamama School, which has been used as a shelter by displaced Palestinians, in the Sheikh Radwan Neighborhood, in northernmost Gaza.
According to Gaza’s Civil Defense, 15 Palestinians were killed and 35 others were injured. It added that the death toll is prone to increase.
Following the initial attack, the Israeli occupation then launched three rockets against the school. Our correspondent also reported that the Israeli occupation forces created a belt of fire around the school while simultaneously heavily striking it and its surrounding areas.
Our correspondent further reported Israeli warplanes firing toward the al-Bureij camp in central Gaza, killing a mother and her child in an airstrike, and resulting in several other martyrs and injuries after the al-Dayya family was targeted in the vicinity of the al-Safaa Mosque in the camp.
Israeli warboats also fired at Gaza’s coast, while the occupation’s artillery shelled easternmost Rafah.
‘Israel’ massacres Palestinians and destroys their homes
Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres against the people of Palestine, killing 31 and injuring 62 others in 24 hours only.
This brings the total number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 to 39,550, in addition to 91,280 injuries, according to the daily report released by the Gaza Ministry of Health.
A number of victims are trapped beneath the rubble, while rescue and civil defense teams remain unable to reach them.
The United Nations reported that almost two-thirds of buildings in the Gaza Strip have been either damaged or destroyed since the onset of the Israeli war on Gaza in October.
“Of these, 30 percent were destroyed, 12 percent severely damaged, 36 percent moderately damaged, and 20 percent possibly damaged, representing approximately 63 percent of the total structures in the region,” it added.
“UNOSAT’s latest damage building assessment, based on satellite imagery… reveals that 151,265 structures have been affected in the Gaza Strip,” the UN Satellite Center stressed.
