Israeli Aggression on Lebanon Persists, Martyrs Rise to 3,754
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in its report on Sunday that the number of casualties of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 3,754 martyrs and 15,626 wounded.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported, on Sunday, that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 3,754 martyrs and 15,626 wounded since the start of the aggression.
The Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Operations Center issued its daily report on the casualties and repercussions of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, noting that airstrikes, until late Saturday night, had resulted in 84 martyrs and 213 wounded.
Moreover, Israeli occupation fighter jets continued to carry out intense airstrikes in southern Lebanon, particularly targeting areas like Nabatieh, the Bayyada neighborhood, Deir Qanun Rass al-Ain, Kafr Dinin, Majdal Selm, Haneen, Rashaf, Kafra, Yater, Saamiya, and al-Mansouri on Sunday evening.
As for the Israeli airstrike in the Southern Suburb of Beirut, the National News Agency correspondent reported that two airstrikes on the Kafaat area caused massive destruction over a large geographical area, starting from the buildings adjacent to the al-Mahdi schools and extending toward the Jamous street.
Heavy smoke covered the skies of the targeted area, and foul odors were reported from the scene.
Israeli warplanes also launched two violent airstrikes on the Kafa’at region of southern Beirut, specifically in the Hadath and Borj al-Brajne areas.
The Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health later issued an updated report, confirming that an Israeli airstrike on the Basta al-Fawqa area in Beirut resulted in 29 martyrs and 67 injuries, with ongoing search and rescue operations amid debris removal.
Additionally, Israeli occupation warplanes broke the sound barrier over Saida and the surrounding region.
Field developments:
In the southern town of Marjayoun, the National News Agency reported that the town of Khiyam had been subjected to intermittent artillery shelling and tank fire from Israeli occupation forces stationed in certain areas, targeting the town and surrounding villages.
Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes on Khiam, followed by multiple explosions carried out by Israeli occupation forces in the town.
In the area of the Litani River, west of Deir Mimas, Israeli occupation forces carried out several explosions along the river’s course.
In the village of Qoleiaa in the eastern region, an Israeli tank shell hit the home of a resident, in the eastern neighborhood, causing significant damage to his house and resulting in multiple injuries. He was later transferred to the Hasbaya Government Hospital.
In the town of Chama, artillery shelling from the Israeli occupation targeted the eastern area of the town, including the nearby area of Wadi Hamoul.
Israeli fighter jets launched a heavy airstrike on Deir Qanun Rass al-Ain, located south of Sidon.
The National News Agency also reported that the towns of Sammaqa and al-Mansouri were subjected to Israeli artillery shelling.
Further, Israeli airstrikes were reported on the town of al-Bayyada, and artillery fire also targeted the town.
The National News Agency also reported that Israeli warplanes launched a second attack on the area between the towns of Tayra and Maaraka.
In Nabatieh:
Israeli occupation warplanes launched a strike on the al-Bayyad neighborhood of Nabatieh around 4:30 PM, followed by another strike on the road between the villages of Kfartabnit and Arnoun at approximately 3:15 PM.
The Israeli occupation air raids also caused significant destruction in the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif, where 10 homes were destroyed during the bombings.
In the Zahrani region, Israeli warplanes launched two strikes on the town of Kharaib, with a few minute intervals between them.
In Jezzine:
Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the town of Shbeil in Jezzine, leading to a power outage in the towns of Qatran, Darya, Shbeil, and Sarira.
The town of al-Rayhan was also targeted by an Israeli occupation airstrike.
Other locations in the south, Bekaa:
Israeli airstrikes also hit the towns of Central Ansar, Deir Siryan, Roumein, and Houmine al-Tahta.
The martyr was born on January 25, 1982, in Bayt Younes, Akkar, and had been serving in the Lebanese Army since September 4, 2006. He was honored multiple times by the Army Commander.
The Lebanese Army Command, Directorate of Guidance, mourned the martyrdom of First Lieutenant Diab Mohammed Jafar, who was killed on November 24, 2024, after Israeli occupation forces targeted a Lebanese Army post in the town of al-Amariyah in the south.
In Baalbek, Israeli occupation warplanes carried out an airstrike on the outskirts of Qasr Naba near Bednayel.
In the Bekaa Valley, Israeli occupation warplanes conducted a heavy airstrike on a house in the town of Mashghara, resulting in two martyrs and twenty injuries. The wounded were transferred to hospitals in Mashghara and Bekaa.
