Israeli Drone Bombing Kills Five Palestinians

Five young Palestinian men were killed and two others injured, one critically, in an airstrike by an Israeli drone targeting a vehicle in the city of Tubas.

Red Crescent sources reported that ambulance crews retrieved the bodies of the five young men from the bombed vehicle, while resuscitation efforts were underway for a sixth injured person.

The Ministry of Health confirmed the deaths of five individuals and two injuries, one critical, with the victims taken to Tubas Turkish Governmental Hospital following the airstrike on a car near Tubas.

The slain Palestinians were identified as Ahmed Fawaz Fayez Abu Dawas, 24, Muhammad Awad Salem Abu Juma, 30, Qusay Majdi Abdullah Abdul Razek, 26, Muhammad Nazmi Abu Zagha, 23, and Muhammad Zakaria Muhammad al-Zubaidi, 21, the son of prisoner Zakaria al-Zubaidi.

This bombing coincided with the ongoing Israeli military operation in Far’a camp, south of Tubas.

Since August 28, Israeli forces have escalated aggression in the West Bank, particularly in the northern regions. This violence has resulted in the deaths of 39 Palestinians, including 21 from Jenin, 8 from Tulkarm, 7 from Tubas, and 3 from Hebron. The total death toll in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, has now reached 699.

Earlier in the day, Red Crescent sources reported that Israeli forces shot a young man multiple times inside Far’a camp, mistreated him, dragged him with a bulldozer, and blocked nearby ambulance crews from reaching or assisting him. No confirmed information about his condition has been released.
