Israeli Occupation shells Gaza residential home, assassinates top PIJ official Ali Ghali
The Israeli occupation has shelled residential buildings in Gaza despite the Palestinian resistance warning that such moves would prompt relentless shelling of "Tel Aviv".
On Thursday dawn Three Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential building in Hamad City, northwest of Khan Yunis, the Gaza Strip.
Al-Quds Brigades announced the martyrdom of Ali Hassan Ghali, a member of the group’s military council and the head of the brigades’ missile unit, saying he was martyred in an Israeli assassination exacted at Wednesday dawn alongside several other PIJ fighters in the north of Khan Yunis.
Ghali is the fourth senior PIJ official to get assassinated in 48 hours. The Israeli occupation launched at Tuesday dawn heinous aggression against the Gaza Strip, targeting civilian homes and several locations, and murdering 25 Palestinians thus far, including women and children.
The Israeli occupation forces said the Israeli Air Force’s air raids on Gaza have killed Jihad Ghannam, the chief of the southern command of the PIJ’s armed wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, and his wife.
The Israeli occupation’s air raids also targeted Islamic Jihad spokesperson Tarek Ezzedine’s house. The PIJ official was martyred.
Another martyr was the commander of the northern region of the Islamic Jihad, Commander Khalil Al-Bahtimi.
We reported earlier that an Israeli attack, an apparent drone strike, claimed the lives of at least two people and injured numerous others.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli aircraft bombed a residential apartment in Hamad Town without prior warning, and ambulances arrived at the place to tend to the casualties.
Medical sources said three martyrs were recovered from inside the residential apartment that was bombed.
An Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that a new raid took place by the Israeli occupation on downtown Bani Suhaila in the southern Gaza Strip. The occupation’s aircraft also targeted agricultural land east of Khan Yunis.
The bombing of a residential building came despite the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement warning the Israeli occupation that its policy of bombing civilian homes would be met with the relentless shelling of “Tel Aviv” and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The PIJ’s warning came after the Israeli occupation forces conducted an air raid on a home in Beit Lahia and another in Beit Hanoun was leveled to the ground by the airstrike.
Moreover, an Israeli UAV fired two missiles toward a residential apartment in Al-Qarara.
A house was directly damaged in “Sderot,” with another suffering damages in occupied Askalan.
In parallel, the Palestinian Resistance renewed its firing of barrages of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
