Israeli Strikes Target Latakia Port, Amid Raid in Quneitra
Israeli occupation aircraft launched heavy strikes on Latakia's al-Bayda Port and military sites, while an Israeli incursion was reported in Quneitra.

Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on the Latakia port on Syria’s northwestern coast, in yet another escalation of unilateral cross-border attacks, at dawn on Thursday.
Local sources told our reporters that the Israeli aggression struck the al-Bayda Port and the 110th Brigade in the coastal city of Latakia. The sources indicated that the targeted sites serve as military positions for foreign factions affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Defense, including fighters from Chechnya and Uzbekistan.
Explosions Reported in Quneitra Countryside
Simultaneously, sources said that sounds of loud explosions were heard from the village of Koum Muhayris in northern Quneitra, southern Syria, coinciding with an Israeli military incursion into the area. The sources noted that the infiltration was accompanied by continuous surveillance drone activity over the region.
The latest attack comes just two days after an Israeli airstrike killed seven people in western Daraa, hours after Israeli forces bombed the Tadmur (Palmyra) military airport and surrounding areas in the eastern Homs countryside.
“Israel” has maintained an almost daily pattern of air raids on Syria, frequently targeting both military and civilian sites, resulting in casualties and material damage.
Damascus condemns Israeli violations of Syrian sovereignty
After the week-long aggression culminated in confrontations in the villages of Koayiah in Daraa, the Syrian Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning “Israel’s” latest military aggression on southern Syria, calling it a “flagrant violation” of the country’s sovereignty and international law.
The ministry noted that this attack marked a dangerous escalation in an ongoing pattern of Israeli assaults. “The continued Israeli aggression on Syrian territory… saw a dangerous escalation in the village of Koayiah,” the statement read, linking the strikes to “Israel’s” broader campaign of incursions into Quneitra and Daraa provinces. It stressed that such operations reflect a deliberate policy of undermining Syria’s territorial integrity and destabilizing the region.
The ministry accused “Israel” of deliberately targeting civilian areas in the village of Koayiah, located in Daraa province, where air and artillery strikes reportedly killed at least seven civilians and forced hundreds of families to flee.
