Libyan army captured 12 Syrian mercenary south of Tripoli
In conjunction with the warning of the Libyan army commander, Khalifa Haftar, that "every Turkish who set foot his leg into Libyan territory and every mercenary sent by Turkey became a legitimate target for artillery fire," the army announced the capture of 12 Syrian mercenaries in the Yarmouk camp, south of the capital, Tripoli.
Libyan Army’s Military Media Division said that their forces had captured 12 Syrian mercenaries in the Yarmouk camp, south of the capital, Tripoli.
The statement added that this targeting “left a large number of deaths among the crowd groups, and our units have captured 12 mercenaries with Syrian citizenship belonging to these groups.”
The Division indicated that the armed forces targeted groups inside the Yarmouk camp, after besieging them in a tight ambush by luring them inside the camp.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had announced a few days ago that the losses of pro-Turkish mercenaries were accumulating in Libya, as the death toll reached 199 mercenaries, most of them were mercenaries, ” Mu’tasim Division, Sultan Murad Division, Skoor al-Shamal Division, Al Hamzat and Suleiman Shah.”
