LNA announces the capture of “8 pro-Turkey Syrian mercenaries and shooting down of a Turkish drone
Libyan National Army announced that its units in southern Tripoli managed to capture eight pro-Turkey Syrian mercenaries who were fighting in the ranks of the forces of the National Accord government, indicating that it was also able to shoot down a Turkish drone over the southern part of the Libyan capital.
The Military Media Division of the LNA stated that “one of the arrested mercenaries admitted that the Turkish authorities brought them overland from Aleppo to Gaziantep Airport in Turkey, before traveling from Istanbul to Libyan Misrata to join GNA forces in its war against the LNA in western Libya.
