OIC Strongly Condemns the Ongoing Crimes Committed by Israeli Occupation Against Palestinians

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the continuation and escalation of the crimes of the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, the latest of which was the bombing of the town of Tamoun in Tubas governorate, which led to the killing of 10 Palestinians.

The OIC also denounced the ongoing aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp, the colonists attacks against Palestinians and their proprieties in the West Bank, the widespread destruction of infrastructure, and the erection of hundreds of military checkpoints and iron gates at the entrances to Palestinian cities and towns.

The OIC renewed its call to the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to take the necessary measures to compel Israel, the occupying power, to stop its aggressive policies, hold it accountable for them and provide international protection for the Palestinian people.

In a press statement, the organization warned of the danger of the continuation of war crimes, forced displacement, annexation and Israeli colonial settlement, which constitute a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law and international legitimacy resolutions.
