Pelosi: Netanyahu is An Obstacle to The Two-state Solution and he Must Resign

Former US House of Representatives Speaker, Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi, said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been an “obstacle” to the two-state solution for years and must resign.

She added: “We must recognize Israel’s right to self-defense. We reject Netanyahu’s policies and practices. What happened is terrible. The destruction in Gaza is enormous.”

Pelosi explained in a television interview on Tuesday that the United States is “committed” to Israel’s security in all respects, but it does not agree with the methods that Netanyahu has been implementing since last October 7.

She continued: “Netanyahu must resign, as he is ultimately responsible for this.”

Pelosi accused Netanyahu of being an “obstacle” to the two-state solution, and said: “I don’t know if he fears peace or if he just doesn’t want peace, but he has been an obstacle to the two-state solution for years.”
