Russian Defense Ministry Announces Killing Of 300 Ukrainian Soldiers
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that at least 300 Ukrainian soldiers were killed during the past day, in addition to the destruction of weapons depots and the downing of nine drones.
Sputnik quoted the ministry in the daily press briefing as saying that the Russian aviation bombed the gathering centers of Ukrainian forces and the deployment of military vehicles in areas of Kharkov province, killing more than 50 soldiers and destruction of a number of vehicles, as well as artillery.
In Krasno-Lyman, more than 100 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and an artillery depot was destroyed.
In the south of Donetsk and in the direction of Zaporozhye, more than 80 Ukrainian soldiers were killed, and 4 weapons and ammunition depots and a number of artillery were destroyed.
In the Donetsk direction, the offensive operations launched by the Russian forces resulted in the deaths of more than 90 Ukrainian soldiers.
In the era of Kherson, as a result of the Russian forces’ bombing of a gathering of Ukrainian forces, about 20 soldiers were killed and an ammunition depot was destroyed.
Also, during the past day, Russian air defense systems shot down nine Ukrainian drones and intercepted seven Himars and Uragan missiles.
