Salah joins the final list of the award for the best player in the world
The International Football Association “FIFA” announced the final list of candidates for the award for the best player in the world for the year 2021, within the “The Best” awards, which included the Egyptian player Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger.
Today, Friday, FIFA published three names, among whom will be announced the best player in the world, during a ceremony to be held in Switzerland on January 17.
The award for the best player in the world was voted on by the coach of each FIFA team, the captain of each team, and a journalist from every country around the world, in addition to the fans’ vote on the award.
Mohamed Salah was in the final list for the second time in his history, after joining the final list previously during the 2017 edition.
The list consisted of:
1- Robert Lewandowski (Poland / Bayern Munich)
2- Lionel Messi (Argentina/Paris Saint-Germain)
3- Mohamed Salah (Egypt / Liverpool)
