The delegation of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) withdrew from the Geneva talks for their refusal to accept bargaining over the Libyan National Army (LNA)
The members of the Libyan House of Representatives’ (HoR) Dialogue Committee arrived last night at Benina International Airport in Benghazi coming from Geneva, accompanied by a number of national figures, as announced by the House’s spokesman, Abdulla Bleihiq.
Sources confirmed the withdrawal of members of HoR’s Dialogue Committee from the dialogues of the political track to be held today, Wednesday, in Geneva for their refusal to accept bargaining over the Libyan National Army (LNA).
This came after the second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the Dialogue Committee, Ahmied Houma, announced the suspension of HoR’s participation in the Geneva Dialogue, and asked the representatives who traveled to return until the UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) formally respond to HoR’s inquiries, and to ensure the participation of all members of the Dialogue Committee representing the House of Representatives, and to provide a meeting agenda.
