The occupation forces continue to bomb Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continue massacring and bombarding Palestinian civilians across the Gaza Strip for the 323rd day of the genocide. During the early hours of Saturday, the IOF killed and injured several Palestinians in the aggression on eastern Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
Palestinian local sources told that 11 Palestinians were killed and at least 15 others were injured, including women and children, after the Israeli occupation forces targeted their home in the al-Amal neighborhood, west Khan Younis.
Local Palestinian media reported that Israeli warplanes directly targeted a gathering of civilians in Abu Arif, easternmost Deir al-Balah, killing at least one Palestinian and injuring a number of others.
Israeli drones also targeted makeshift tents set up by displaced Palestinians in easternmost Deir al-Balah, leaving several, including women, injured by bullet fire.
Drones targeted young Palestinians in the vicinity of the Abu Arif intersection near the al-Shuhada School Street, with reports of injuries.
The occupation’s artillery also shelled the area of Hakr al-Jame’ in Deir al-Balah, injuring several Palestinians.
He further reported that the number of martyrs from the Israeli bombing of a residential apartment in the Ain Jalut Towers in Nuseirat has risen to four.
Nuseirat and Khan Younis under relentless fire
Meanwhile, Khan Younis and the Nuseirat refugee camp came under heavy Israeli attack at the same time, which led to the martyrdom and injury of several Palestinian civilians.
Several other civilians also fell casualty after the IOF shelled the vicinity of al-Salam Street in Jourat al-Lot, as well as the vicinity of the al-Tahlia area, south and east of the city.
Also, three people were injured after an Israeli drone struck a school sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Israeli artillery shelling also targeted the Ezbet Abd Rabbo area, east of Jabalia al-Balad, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian Civil Defense told that Israeli shelling led to the destruction of residential buildings in the Kuwait Roundabout, the Aliyin Square, and the university college, south of Gaza City.
Four Palestinians were killed on Friday evening when the Israeli occupation bombed gatherings of citizens in northern Gaza.
“Israel’s” increased aggression in Gaza is confining Palestinians into ever-smaller portions of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinians in Gaza have long lived in one of the world’s most densely populated areas, and since “Israel” launched its war on Gaza over 10 months ago, the space in which they remain has shrunk drastically.
As Israel broadens its onslaught into formerly designated safe zones, it continues to push Palestinians into smaller and smaller sections of the strip.
This month, 9 evacuation orders have been issued, encompassing locations the IOF had already classified as humanitarian zones.
The United Nations estimates that these directives have affected 213,000 people, which means, according to the WSJ, that Gaza’s 2.2 million residents are now mostly restricted to a region of around 15 square miles, less than Manhattan’s footprint.
The diminishing space for Palestinians to take asylum is raising concerns about disease outbreaks and deteriorating living conditions in the few places where they may find safety, if any.
