The English club Liverpool sent a message of support to its Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, after losing with his country in the final of the 33rd edition of the African Nations Cup, against Senegal.
And the official account of Liverpool on Twitter published a picture of the star, Mohamed Salah, attached to a “blog” in which he said: “You should be proud of the wonderful performance you gave throughout this tournament, @MoSalah.”
The Egyptian team led by Salah lost against his Senegalese counterpart, led by Sadio Mane, his colleague in Liverpool, on penalties (2-4) after they tied without goals in the original and extra time for the final match that brought them together on Sunday evening, at the “Paul Biya Stadium” in the Cameroonian capital Yaounde.
