Whoever conspires against the state has no place in Tunisia”: Tunisia-President Kais
President Kais Saied paid a late visit to the national army Special Forces Corps headquarters in Menzel Jemil, Bizerte and the interior ministry headquarters to inspect the security and army formation, examine their readiness and follow up on developments Associating to the security situation throughout the nation.
President of the Republic reaffirmed his entire confidence in the national army and its readiness to repel any aggression, adding that Tunisia is a trust in our hands that need be protected, just as the Tunisian people and their demands are a trust, we will strive to achieve them, and return all aggression regardless of its origin.
Upon his arrival to the headquarters, the Head of State wad briefed about the readiness of the military special forces, he hailed their constant readiness to defend the country and to confront by force all who think about trespassing on the Tunisian state or legitimacy, whether from inside or outside.
Furthermore, visiting the interior ministry headquarters, the president of the Republic stressed that hat the Tunisian state lives and continues, and we will not pause to apply the law to everyone who violates it without exception.
He pointed out that the recent period witnessed a lot of narrow political calculations, stressing the necessity of working to guarantee the dignity of Tunisians and the fulfillment of their legitimate demands, adding that it was not the right of anyone to trade in the poverty of citizens and their social conditions by fueling the protests taking place.
The Head of State indicated that he would not accept for Tunisia be a hotbed for terrorists, nor agents who conspire with the outside and create conditions to stray from legitimacy, saying, “Whoever conspires against the state has no place in Tunisia.”
He expressed gratitude for the security forces for their vigorous efforts to enforce the respect of the law and defend the country. He further renewed his great confidence in the security and military forces and their leaders and its insistence on imposing respect for the law on everyone again, saying, “I am ascetic in the world, but I am not ascetic in the Tunisian state.”
